Financial Aid (FAFSA) Workshop

This Thursday, October 26th, a Financial Aid workshop will be held at 6 PM in Room 317 for seniors and their parents/guardians. This workshop will offer information regarding the completion of your FAFSA, as well as give you the opportunity to complete the FAFSA. Prior to the event you must create a FSA ID, which can be done by going to https://fsaid.ed.gov. Along with creating an ID you must have the following documentation with you in order to complete the FAFSA:
1.Social security numbers for both student and parent(s)
2. Driver’s license number (if any)
3. W-2 forms from two prior years (2016) and other records of any money earned
4. Student and parent(s) Federal Income tax Returns form 2016 – IRS form 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, foreign tax returns or tax returns from Puerto Rico (if any)
5. Any untaxed income records for 2016 – example: payments to tax deferred pension and savings plan, tax exempt interest and child support received in 2016
6. Records of taxable earnings form need base work programs in 2016 (summer programs)
7. Records of any grants, scholarship and fellowship aid that was included in your parents 2016 adjusted gross income (AGI)
8. Any current bank statements
9. Any business and investment mortgage information, business and farm records, stock, bonds and other investment
10. Documentation that you are a U.S. permanent resident or eligible non-citizen (if applicable)
